Hi David, Our bmx season is just starting out. Please come out and check us out on Monday evenings and race days, our schedule is posted on the website. Our track is open to the public everyday. The gate you are talking about is staying locked at the moment because it is broken (someone thought it would be nice to take their vehicle on the track) we are looking into having all the fencing replaced this season with some easier access for the public to use the track. That is why we have left the fence part open near the starting hill for the public to access the track. If we leave the gates open we end up with ATVs and motorcycles along with vehicles on the track. We have a very high rate of vandalism and work very hard on our track for all the little and big kids to enjoy.... I hope this answers some of your questions.

I see a nice facility, never open or used The sign on the fence of the track reads "Key for using, (unlock the fence) at the Civic Center 20699 42nd Ave They never in the past three years had anything to do with the facility key I was told to phone the city, Parks and Rec. can you kelp me to gain proper access for many kids most kids go through the fence and feel like they should not be there. looks like public should be allowed to use it. Kids playing in the park, and not on our streets what is it intended for????
